it's quite unfortunate when such talented singers seem to lose their focus...i admire vaishali and the immense talent she has cannt be denied in any way...but what is this new thing that she's pulling by saying she wants to be in politics that politics is her true dream...if that is truly what she desires she shouldn't have been on sa re ga ma pa...the only thing she is doing is taking opportunities away from others who truly want to become singers and that would be their life's dream...i don't care how her life was...yes she had to struggle and trust me so does everyone in this world..i know first hand and believe me i can write a novel about the setbacks and hardships in my life but i have moved forward...and also does that mean that people who have been well off are not deserving of the winner title...this is completely unacceptable...we are looking at their singing talent and for a wonderful singer...i could care less if the winner is an average, rich, poor, smart or stupid at the end of the day i would not waste my money to buy cds of singers who are not worth it....she is a good singer and should focus on that if she's not interested she should really stop playing and give others the opportunity to shine...

As a part of going in village in harijan family and neglected by politicians since Gandhi's Indian become free, many children aspire to be in politics to change the conditions of neglected poor people in Free India. Yashita has 2 dogs to feed and they even eat real money. Yet, the village Vaishali grew up has no drinking water well. Despite that all politician endorced her now that she is a topper, no one has cared to give her a contract to feed her child or husband. She has said that Singing brought her here. She plans to sing and help others for 30 minutes/day minimum.Only Suresh Wadkar is doing that.
So, please do not find excuses to deprive her from being no. 1. This provides her basic foundation to survive in Mumbai. I have traveled these villages and 86% schools do not have toilets for girls to go to school, and most of the girls get raped, deprived of basic education and basic food and clothing. Country has deprived harijans.S/C.S/Ts for thousands of years and in a free democracy , people can change that either through violence or through political policy change. If she does not get a contract, then how does she support her family. No Maharashtrian including 81% non-marathi peopole like Preetam and Adarsha have taken care of her child or husband during last 6 months. Now,that she is no. 1, Yashita and Soumen did not have a coursey to handover the award to her. This is why when we deprive a person on merit and do not help her get a roti, then Deshki Beti has right to choose. We accept outsider Soniya Gandhi and Maneka Gandhi who can afford to feed a don, but not the real people shown in Slum Lord Millionaire.
