Hellow friends,
We are happy to share yet another brief chit chat with Vaishali, very casual topics covered this time.
It was nice to know about Vaishali's hobbies, her thoughts and experience in Saregamapa.
Thanks to Vaishali once again , she was so patient to share her thoughts at 11:45 p.m.:)
So here is Vaishali Made sharing her choices, her thoughts with her fans !
Date of Birth:
21.08.1984
Favorite City:
Mumbai, the land of opportunities !
Favorite Actor:
Salman Khan (After meeting him lastweekJ)
Favorite Actress:
Rekha
Favorite time pass (other than music) :
Eating, watching TV and shopping!
Your Favorite Food:
Traditional Marathi delicacy, ‘Puranpoli’, served with Asli desi ghee.
Puran poli cooked in Vidarbhian style is yummier with lots of stuffed Puran and sugar.
Your Favorite Challenege 2007 contestants:
Raja Hassan and Mussarrat Abbas.
Your Favorite Challenege 2005 contestant:
Never got a chance to follow Challenge 05 season.
One song which you found hard to sing recently ?
It was Himeshji’s ‘Mahiya too’ song from Karzz.
Himeshji is blessed with unique high pitch voice quality.
It is very difficult to match his scale for a female singer even.
I tried this song using one octave down than the original but I was still not comfortable with high notes!
So finally I had to change my song for Karzz promotion round.
Your favorite song composed by Himesh Reshammiya:
Mai Jaha rahoon (Namastey London), Lagan lag gayi hai (Tere naam)
Best quality of Himeshji as a mentor:
His strong encouragement to his singers is just amazing.
Sometimes our performance is not up the mark on stage, but his positive attitude and encouraging words keeps us confident to perform better in next round!
You favorite mentor of Challenge o7;
I never watched mentor’s comments carefully, so I can’t comment.
But as a music director I love Ismail Darbar ji’s compositions a lot.
Your favorite Music Director( just one name please):
Madan Mohan ji.
Laxmikant Pyarelal (If you allow me to mention 2 names:))
For which actress you think your voice is perfect to offer playback?
I think my voice will suit Deepika Padukone very well.
Share your experience to perform in front of Salman khan.
Salman Khan is the sweetest, very down to earth, kind hearted celebrity I have even seen.
It was a pleasant surprise for me when he requested ‘Kombdi Palali’ ,a Marathi song for me to sing.
His mother liked my performance on Zee Marathi Saregamapa and she requested Salman Khan to mention that on show.
It was so sweet of him to dance on ‘Kombdi Palali’ and encouraging me.
Salman Khan memorized last season’s performances, singers and their names too.
He enquired about their career graphs, also offered help for all aspiring singers in Saregamapa.
He talked to every one in his own style which made us so comfortable.
Imagine yourself in TOP 3 of SaReGaMa Pa, what would be your choice of other 2 finalsits?
Debojeet and Shoumen.
And the woman takes away the title?
(Laughs,) I am trying my best, please pray for me.
Thank you Vaishali.
My pleasure!
